Car sales and finance on the rise for Skoda
Good news for the VW owned outfit of Skoda, as its sales record rose 15 per cent year-on-year to a record of 378,747 in the first half of this year. The increases in sales and finance have been boosted by sales to Germany and China.
China, is as we know, a potentially huge and lucrative market for all car manufacturers, and Skoda has stated that sales in the Chinese market rose 83 per cent in the first half.
Skoda has said that it hopes to beat last year’s sales figure of 684,226, and if these results are anything to go by, it is certainly on track to do just that.
