De La Rosa says McLaren should end car finance season after Red Bull 1,2

McLaren’s test driver and all-round good guy, Pedro De La Rosa, has joined several highly respected journalists and drivers by claiming Vettel has basically gaurenteed himself this year’s title. Despite De La Rosa’s McLaren ties, he claims that his team should concentrate on 2012 after Red Bull’s 1,2 in Spa.

"Perhaps this is the moment to forget Spa," said, Pedro.

"Perhaps it is even the moment to forget the drivers' world championship", he penned in a column for formulasantander.com.

"Forgetting the calculator now, and accepting that there is already virtually a winner of this world championship, we can begin to think of 2012 and how to avoid at all costs the domination of Red Bull being prolonged for another season”.
